Turkish mills are offering mesh quality (1008-1010) wire rod in the local market at $1,260-1,350/mt ex-works, on actual weight basis and excluding VAT. In addition, the same mills are offering drawing quality (1006) wire rod in the local market at $1,270-1,360/mt ex-works, also on actual weight basis and excluding VAT.
Demand level in the local Turkish wire rod market is not so strong at the moment. However, the high levels of rebar and billet prices in this market have been triggering the wire rod price increases.
