Turkish mills are offering mesh quality wire rod in the local market at $1,250-1,310/mt ex-works, on actual weight basis and excluding VAT, for August delivery.
Different price levels are being heard in the local Turkish wire rod market at the moment. It is observed that some producers prefer instead to manufacture rebars due to the upward price movement in this item, while others prefer to produce billet in place of wire rod.
