The new wire rod prices in the local Taiwanese steel market are at the following levels:

The above prices include five percent VAT and are also delivered to warehouse. All the prices are for late August shipments. Low carbon, medium carbon, high carbon and CHQ grade wire rod prices have remained unchanged, while low alloyed wire rod prices have increased by NTD 500/mt ($16/mt) - all compared to last week.
