SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a producer in Izmir in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5-16 mm drawing quality wire rod have decreased to $665/mt ex-works, while its offers for 20MnB4 grade have fallen to $805/mt ex-works, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand.
In addition, the producer’s offers for 5.5-16 mm drawing quality wire rod are at $675/mt delivered to Istanbul and its offers for 20MnB4 grade are at $815/mt delivered to Istanbul. The offers in question are $15/mt lower than the offers in the producer’s previous price list dated Tuesday, August 15.
All the above prices exclude 20 percent VAT and are for cash payments.
