SteelOrbis has heard that Turkish producers are offering mesh quality wire rods for export at $610-620/mt FOB on actual weight basis for June shipments.
Chinese wire rod offers have increased slightly due to the VAT rebate cancellation. This situation may support Turkish producers in the US and Europe. Furthermore, if the Ukrainian mills increase their prices in May for June production wire rod, this situation may also create an advantage for Turkish mills in the Mediterranean and Middle East.
