Turkish wire rod export prices continue their upward movement

As a result of the ongoing rises seen in Turkish steel mills’ import scrap purchase prices, Turkish wire rod export quotations have increased by an average of $35/mt during the past week and are currently at $530-550/mt FOB. However, this price range is considered to be at the high side by international buyers and so demand for Turkish wire rod exports is observed to be weak.
