Turkish rebar market

Prices of reinforcing bars in Turkish market indicated a decrease from the levels of previous week. Prices in terms of US Dollar also indicate a decline. The recent price levels are as follows:

Marmara Region:

Small dia.: TRY 700-720/mt (approx. $452-465/mt+VAT)*
Large dia.: TRY 680-702/mt (approx. $439-452/mt+VAT)*

Payas Region:

Small dia.: TRY 660/mt (approx. $426/mt+VAT)
Large dia.: TRY 650/mt (approx. $419/mt+VAT)
All TRY prices include 18% VAT. USD equivalents exclude VAT. 1 USD = 1.31150 TRY *Although the price lists of the mills are indicated as above, sales in the Marmara Region are made around the level of TRY 670/mt ($432/mt+VAT).
