Turkish rebar market

Prices of reinforcing bars in the Turkish local market have decreased significantly over the previous weeks' levels. The prices in terms of US Dollar also indicate decreases over last weeks' levels. The recent price levels are as per the following:

Marmara Region:
Small dia.: TL 670'000-680'000/kg (approx. $396-402/mt+VAT)
Large dia.: TL 650'000-660'000/kg (approx. $384-390/mt+VAT)


Aegean region:
8mm         : TL 690'000/kg (approx. $408/mt+VAT)
10mm        : TL 670'000/kg (approx. $396/mt+VAT)
Large dia   : TL 660'000/kg (approx. $390/mt+VAT)


Payas region:
Small dia  :  TL 650'000/kg (approx. $384/mt+VAT)
Large dia  :  TL 640'000/kg (approx. $379/mt+VAT)


Karabuk region:
Small dia  :  TL 665'000/kg (approx. $393/mt+VAT)
Large dia  :  TL 660'000/kg (approx. $390/mt+VAT)
All TL prices are including 18% VAT. USD equivalents are excluding VAT. 1 USD = 1'432'891 TL
