Turkish rebar market

Prices of reinforcing bars in the Turkish local market have decreased over the last week's levels. The decrease is reaching TL 30'000/kg in Payas region. The prices in terms of US Dollar indicate slight decreases over last week's levels. The recent price levels are as per the following:

Marmara Region:
Small dia.: TL 780'000-800'000/kg (approx. $450-462/mt+VAT)
Large dia.: TL 760'000-776'000/kg (approx. $438-447/mt+VAT)

Aegean region:
8mm         : TL 795'000/kg (approx. $459/mt+VAT)
10mm        : TL 780'000/kg (approx. $450/mt+VAT)
Large dia   : TL 770'000/kg (approx. $444/mt+VAT)
Payas region:
Small dia  :  TL 760'000/kg (approx. $438/mt+VAT)
Large dia  :  TL 750'000/kg (approx. $432/mt+VAT)
Karabuk    :
           :  TL 750'000/kg (approx. $432/mt+VAT)         
All TL prices are including 18% VAT. USD equivalents are excluding VAT. 1 USD = TL 1'465'791.17
