Turkish rebar export prices on the rise

SteelOrbis is informed that Turkish mills are offering rebars for export to destinations other than the US and Persian Gulf markets at $1,330-1,360/mt FOB on actual weight basis for mid-September shipments.

With the Turkish rebar producers already having filled their order books for August in the export market, it is now heard that they are booked up to mid-September. It is also heard that there have been some deals concluded from Turkey to the UAE at the price level of $1,400/mt CFR Dubai on a theoretical weight basis.
