SteelOrbis is informed that Turkish mills are offering rebars for export at $690-700/mt FOB on actual weight basis for March shipments to destinations other than the US and Persian Gulf markets.

Following their conclusion of rebar sales at levels of $670-675/mt FOB on actual weight basis in the pre-religious holiday period, the Turkish producers have continued to raise their prices. They consider that the current positive momentum will continue with the revival of the European and the USA markets in the New Year. However, most trading firms are deeply uncomfortable due to the rapid increase of prices within a very short period of time.
