SteelOrbis is informed that Turkish mills are offering rebars for export to destinations other than the US and Persian Gulf markets at $1,200-1,260/mt FOB on actual weight basis for August shipments.
With recent UAE rebar purchases registering high price levels, the gap between the offer prices of the Turkish producers selling to the UAE and the offers of those Turkish producers selling to non-UAE destinations has again started to expand.
On the other hand, it is heard that some deals for small tonnages have been concluded from Turkey to the UAE at the price level of $1,300/mt CFR on a theoretical weight basis.
