SteelOrbis is informed that Turkish mills are offering rebars for export to destinations other than the US and Persian Gulf markets at $750-760/mt FOB on actual weight basis for April shipments.

As the local market in Turkey starts to rally, Turkish rebar producers have been increasing their prices. With some producers not even making offers, no deals have been concluded at the mentioned price levels. The latest deals concluded to the Middle East, Eastern Africa and South Africa were at $730-740/mt FOB. However, Turkish producers are giving their offers at the price levels of $750/mt FOB and above, due to the fact that they have optimistic expectations for the future situation of the market.
