SteelOrbis has learned that, due to positive developments resulting from the end of the downtrend in scrap prices and the conclusion of some new scrap deals, Turkish steel mills' rebar export offers have reached $620/mt FOB for July shipments.

Meanwhile, with the ongoing financial crisis in the international markets and low demand due to the approach of Ramadan, buyers in export markets had been waiting for rebar offers to decline further and it is not yet clear how they will react these new offers.
