Turkish origin rebar prices on decline in UAE

The UAE rebar market still waits for local producer ESI's price announcement for April. ESI is expected to announce its new prices by next week at AED 2,410/mt ($657/mt) ex-works, unchanged as compared to the previous levels. Due to the import shipments that will continue until late April, ESI's new price announcement which was supposed to be made on March 22 has been postponed.
 
On the other hand, Turkish rebar offers to the UAE have declined by $4/mt since last week to $606-608/mt CFR and demand for the new offers is at good levels and two transactions have already been concluded at these levels for late April-early May shipments.
