SteelOrbis has learned that Turkish producer Icdas' 7-8.5 mm mesh quality and drawing quality wire rod prices in Biga, Canakkale in northwestern Turkey are standing at TRY 1,161/mt ($472/mt) and at TRY 1,186/mt ($482/mt) respectively. The offers exclude 18 percent VAT and are on ex-works basis.
The mill's list prices have moved down by TRY 55/mt as compared to its previous price list issued on January 19, while due to currency fluctuations prices have decreased by $44/mt on US dollar basis.
