SteelOrbis has heard that Turkish rolling mills are offering angles for export at $1,400-1,420/mt FOB on actual weight basis for August shipments. In addition, flat bars are being offered at $1,410-1,430/mt FOB, 80-100-120 mm IPE is being offered at $1,450-1,460/mt FOB, IPN-UPN are being offered at $1,410-1,430/mt FOB and 80-100-120 mm IPE AA is being offered at $1,460-1,470/mt FOB - all on actual weight basis and also for August shipments.
Although there is still sluggishness in demand for Turkish merchant bar exports, the price levels in this market have been maintaining their strength due to the high prices in the local Turkish billet market.
