According to market sources, billet prices in the local Turkish market have remained in the range of $430-450/mt ex-works, depending on the region of the country. On November 21, Turkish steel producer Kardemir opened its billet sales at the price level of $415/mt ex-works and closed its sales on the same day after selling about 131,750 in total. Transaction activity has revived in the local Turkish billet market, while it is heard that a producer in Turkey's Iskenderun region has concluded a deal in its local region at $435/mt ex-works.

On the other hand, ex-CIS billet offers to Turkey have declined in line with expectations, softening by $10/mt since last week to $410-420/mt CFR. It is also heard that deals have been concluded from Ukraine to Turkey in the price range in question.
