Tight availability in local Turkish rebar spot market

In the local Turkish rebar spot market, traders' prices have increased by TRY 20-30/mt over the past week, though mostly recording slight decreases in the US dollar terms due to exchange rate fluctuation, depending on the region.

Turkish rebar spot prices have moved up slightly following the US dollar gaining strength against the Turkish lira as from the middle of last week. Additionally, availability of rebar in the local market is currently on the low side as local producer Kardemir closed its rebar sales last week after receiving orders for large volumes.
