Stable trend in ex-CIS billet offers

According to market sources, ex-CIS billet offers have remained stable over the past two weeks at $340-345/mt CFR, for September shipment. Meanwhile, Chinese billet export offers have increased by $10/mt over the past two weeks to $320-325/mt CFR. Market sources state that no ex-CIS billet deals have been heard in Turkey in the given period, while CIS-based exporters’ billet sales to the Middle East and Europe have improved slightly.
