Spanish wire rod market - week 48

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that local prices in the Spanish wire rod market have increased by €5/mt ($7/mt) since last week to €495-500/mt ($673-680/mt) delivered to customer. 

Meanwhile, Spanish mesh and drawing quailty wire rod export offers have remained unchanged over the same period at €480/mt ($653/mt) FOB and €495/mt ($673/mt) FOB respectively. Market players state that demand for wire rod in Spain is still weak.
