Spanish rebar market quiet after the holiday period

Markets sources state that rebar prices in the local Spanish market are standing at €485-490/mt ($660-666/mt) delivered, indicating no changes over the past week.

Meanwhile, Spanish rebar export offers have also trended sideways since last week and are still at €465-470/mt ($632-639/mt) FOB. In addition, Spanish rebar offers to Algeria can be found at €480-490/mt ($653-666/mt) CFR. Market sources state that no deals have been heard in the Spanish rebar market so far after the New Year holiday, and the market has continued to be characterized by sluggishness.
