Shagang Group issues long steel prices for early April

On April 1, Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shagang Group announced its ex-mill long steel prices for early April (April 1-10). The details are as follows (comparisons being with prices for March 21 -31):
 
1.      Rebar prices are unchanged. Thus, the price of 16-25 mm HRB 335 rebar is still at RMB 4,750/mt ($722/mt), while the price of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar stays at RMB 4,870/mt ($741/mt).
 
2.      High speed wire rod prices have also remain unchanged. As a result, the price of 6.5 mm Q235 common carbon high speed wire rod is still at RMB 4,750/mt ($722/mt).
 
3.      The price of rebar in coil has increased by RMB 30/mt ($4/mt). As a result, the price of 8 mm HRB 400 rebar in coil has risen to RMB 4,880/mt ($742/mt).
 
The above prices are ex-mill and include tax.
