Scrap prices push up domestic rebar quotations in Turkey

It is observed that the sharp rises seen in import scrap prices in Turkey have pushed domestic rebar prices in the country up by TRY 30-60/mt since July 24. On the other hand, buyers are seen to be slowing down their domestic rebar purchases, preferring to maintain a wait-and-see stance, as they are concerned about the rapid rises seen in prices.

As of today, July 27, traders’ rebar offers in the Turkish domestic market are as follows:
