Rebar prices in the local Turkish market

The Turkish domestic rebar market decreased to a price level of TRY 760/mt ($540/mt, excluding VAT) on Monday, October 8, following the slight rise in prices seen last Friday. Today (October 9), however, the market has seen a rebound in price levels.

The new prices are at the following levels:     

Marmara region:

8-12 mm

TRY 790-800/mt ($561-569/mt)

Payas region:

Small dia.

TRY 800/mt ($569/mt)

Large dia.

TRY 790/mt ($561/mt)

Izmir region:

8 mm

TRY 800/mt ($569/mt)

10 mm

TRY 790/mt ($561/mt)

12 mm

TRY 780/mt ($555/mt)

Sivas region:

Large dia.

TRY 780/mt ($555/mt)

All TRY prices include 18 percent VAT and are ex-works.

USD equivalents exclude VAT.
