SteelOrbis has been informed that local offers for 8 mm rebar in the Saudi Arabian market are at the price level of SAR 2,250/mt ($601/mt), offers for 12 mm are at SAR 2,050/mt ($547/mt), while 16 mm and above are being offered at SAR 2,000/mt ($534/mt). All offers are ex-works and on a theoretical weight basis.

Price levels in the Saudi Arabian rebar market are on a stable trend. As the flatness in prices is expected to continue until the end of this month, it is reported that end-user demand in this country is currently at normal levels. However, the demand level in question is observed to be lower compared to the high end-user demand in the country over the last three weeks.
