Rebar prices in the Italian market

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the Italian domestic rebar market,where end-use demand is on a slack trend, base prices for rebar are standing in the range of €195-205/mt ($255-269/mt), while domestic producers have been offering medium sized rebar to the local market at a price level of €410-420/mt ($538-551/mt), including VAT, ex-works, on actual weight and open account basis. Meanwhile, rebar expor offers given by Italy to Greece have been standing at the level of €420/mt ($551/mt) FOB Italy.
