SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of medium sized rebar in the local Portuguese market are this week at the level of €370-375/mt ($479-485/mt) delivered to customer, excluding VAT, on actual weight basis. Rebar prices in Portugal are maintaining their softening trend under the influence of scrap prices. Meanwhile, no improvement is observed in end-user demand.
