Rebar prices in local Turkish market

The Turkish domestic rebar market has indicated significant improvements over the last two to three weeks. Although the general price range in Turkey's Marmara region is at TRY 850-860/mt, the producers in this region and also in the Sivas region are not currently quoting any prices. Odd decreases can be seen in some regions due to profit-taking. The new prices are at the following levels:

Marmara Region: 
Small dia:  TRY 850-860/mt (approx. $497-503/mt)
Large dia:  TRY 850-860/mt (approx. $497-503/mt)


Payas area: 
Small dia:  TRY 910/mt (approx. $533/mt)
Large dia:  TRY 900/mt (approx. $527/mt) 


Izmir area: 
Small dia:  TRY 895/mt (approx. $524/mt)
Medium dia: TRY 885/mt (approx. $518/mt)
Large dia:  TRY 875/mt (approx. $512/mt)

All TRY prices include 18% VAT. USD equivalents exclude VAT. 1 USD = 1.4480 TRY
