Rebar prices decrease slightly in Spain

SteelOrbis has learned that in the Spanish domestic rebar market demand is still low and local rebar prices in Spain have decreased by €5/mt to €550-560/mt ($748-762/mt) on actual weight basis, for deliveries to customer, despite increased foreign demand.
 
In the meantime, Spanish mills' rebar export offers are at €515-520/mt ($701-707/mt) FOB on actual weight basis. However, there are fewer price inquiries in the market due to trend of the euro-dollar exchange rate.
