The price level of imported rebar in the UAE market is at around AED 3,000-3,050/mt ($817-830/mt) delivered to site on a theoretical weight basis for 3- and 4-month deferred payment, excluding VAT.

Prices in the retail rebar market in the UAE have remained almost unchanged since last week when heavy weather conditions considerably affected sales.

Regarding the UAE import rebar market, buyers are no in hurry to make purchases from Turkey for April shipments. Instead, they prefer to wait and observe developments in the other markets for now. The latest offers from China are at the price level of $780/mt CFR, on a theoretical weight basis. However, importers are not inclined to accept the price level in question.
