Rebar price level in UAE

The price level of local production rebar in the UAE market is at AED 4,250/mt ($1,157/mt) ex-works on a theoretical weight basis for cash payment, excluding VAT.

The local producer in the UAE has increased its prices as of yesterday on the back of high billet prices. However, there is a small discount for buyers of large tonnages.

It seems that the increase in question and the deals from Turkey concluded at price levels of above $1,070/mt CFR will likely cause the UAE retail prices to go up.
