The local Turkish rebar market was in a fairly negative situation earlier this month. Trading firms in particular had been concluding sales at low levels. However, with the inventory decrease of traders, prices have started to go up again. The Turkish rebar producers are currently offering rebars to the local market at price levels of TRY 1,450/mt ($936/mt + VAT) and above ex-works, including 18 percent VAT.

1 USD = 1.3129 TRY
