The price level of Spain-produced 12 mm rebar in the local Spanish market is at €445-455/mt ex-works on actual weight basis with 30-days deferred payment, excluding VAT.

Announced base prices are at the level of €240/mt in the local Spanish market. It would be possible to find a level of €230/mt early this week. However, producers are announcing that they will increase the prices to €250/mt with the New Year. Market players think that the producers could reach their desired price level due to the rising raw material and rebar prices. For latter, prices have been increasing in spite of the low demand caused by the winter season.
