According to market sources, Spanish rebar export offers have decreased by approximately €3-6/mt ($3-6/mt) since the second half of January to €418/mt ($472/mt) FOB. Meanwhile, during the same period Italian steel producers' rebar export offers have declined by €5/mt ($6/mt) on the upper end to €415/mt ($469/mt) FOB. However, market players state that the offers in question are on the high side and that foreign buyers will likely wait for lower prices before concluding deals.
