Rebar demand slows down and price uptrend ends in local Turkish market

After rebar demand picked up in the Turkish domestic market on July 9, prices also followed a rising trend. However, the increase in rebar demand has now been replaced by sluggishness, and the upward movement in prices has come to a halt. Meanwhile, it is reported that, before concluding deals, market players are awaiting the closure of Turkish steel mill Kardemir's domestic rebar sales in order to gain a better picture of the market situation.
