Prices in local Turkish rebar market fall further

Demand in the local Turkish rebar market is still weak as market players are mostly concluding purchases only in line with their needs amid the ongoing uncertainty regarding the margin of the planned reduction in rebar import duty. Meanwhile, trading activity in the local Turkish rebar market has slowed down slightly due to Ramadan and prices have declined further by TRY 20-40/mt since June 8.
