During the past two weeks, demand in the local Iranian billet market has been weak, while domestic billet prices have softened slightly in the same period. Domestic steel producers' 150 mm x 150 mm square billet quotations in the local Iranian market have declined by an average of $1.5/mt compared to price levels recorded on October 10 to $360-365/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT.
