As SteelOrbis has heard, in the local Turkish market merchant bar prices depending on size, thickness and region are at the following levels: small IPN-UPN are priced at TRY 1,330-1,380/mt ($624-648/mt), angles are at TRY 1,330-1,380/mt ($624-648/mt), while flat bars are at TRY 1,360-1,410 /mt ($638-662/mt). All prices are ex-works, on actual weight basis and excluding VAT.
Meanwhile, the Turkish spot merchant bar market has made a lackluster start to the week, with transaction activity remaining on the weak side.
