Nucor-Yamato to increase WFB prices for July

SteelOrbis has learned that Nucor-Yamato Steel Company will be increasing its wide flange beam (WFB) transaction prices by $30 /nt ($1.50 cwt. or $33 /mt) for July shipments. 

Effective with shipments during the month of July, Nucor's raw materials surcharge (RMS) will be $378 /nt ($18.90 cwt. or $417 /mt), a decrease of $25 /nt ($1.25 cwt. or $27.56 /mt) from the company's June RMS. 

Additionally, the company is increasing its base prices for wide flange beams by $55 /nt ($2.75 cwt. or $61 /mt), resulting in a $30 /nt ($1.50 cwt. or $33 /mt) increase in transaction prices for July shipments.
