Effective with shipments January 1, 2011, Nucor-Yamato's Raw Materials Surcharge (RMS) for structural products will be $243/nt ($12.15 cwt. or $267/mt). This reflects an increase of $45/nt ($2.25 cwt. or $50/mt) from the December 1 RMS.
Additionally, the company will increase the base price for all products by $20/nt ($1.00 cwt. or $22/mt) effective immediately.
Fuel charges effective January 1 will be 22 percent for truck and 13.5 percent for rail.
