Nucor Bar Mill Group released a price announcement Wednesday indicating that effective with shipments beginning January 1, 2011, base prices on all carbon and alloy Special Bar Quality products will increase by $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt).
The price increase will be in addition to the raw material surcharge and any other applicable surcharges.
