SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Spanish rebar offers to Portugal have remained unchanged in the last three weeks at €545/mt ($685/mt) for deliveries to customer on actual weight basis, for 60-day deferred payments.

Demand in the Portuguese rebar market has been poor for weeks now and transaction activity in the market is fairly low. Prices are expected to show some softening in the coming days amid the ongoing slackness of demand.
