Demand in the Syrian domestic long steel market has shown some revival. SteelOrbis has been informed that, in the Syrian longs market, prices of imported angles are at SYP 36,500-37,000/mt ($783-794/mt) ex-warehouse, imported IPN/UPN prices are at SYP 36,500-37,000/mt ($783-794/mt) ex-warehouse, while flat and square bar prices are at the level of SYP 35,000/mt ($751/mt) ex-works, all compared to last week. All prices are on actual weight basis, for weekly deferred payment and excluding VAT.
