The price level for local production small and medium size merchant bars in the local Romanian market is at €820-850/mt ($1,288-1,336/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, on actual weight basis with 30 day deferred payment.
The prices of small and medium size merchant bars in the market in question have remained unchanged compared to last week. It is reported that end-users have been supplying their needs from their own local market. Also, the billet demand level of the merchant bar producers in this country is currently strong.
