SteelOrbis has been informed that Italian producers' merchant bar offers for the country's domestic market are currently varying in a price range of €860-890/mt ex-works, on actual weight basis, excluding VAT.
This week, offers for small and medium size merchant bars in the Italian domestic market have maintained their levels of the previous weeks. Throughout the month of August, the prices in question are expected to remain at their current levels in Italy, which goes on holiday as of this Friday.
