Effective with August shipments, Nucor's raw materials surcharge (RMS) will be $443 /nt ($22.15 cwt. or $488 /mt), an increase of $65 /nt ($3.25 cwt. or $72 /mt) from the company's July RMS. The company's base prices for merchant bar products will remain unchanged, resulting in a $65 /nt ($3.25 cwt. or $72 /mt) increase in transaction prices for August shipments.
