Turkish wire rod producers' production costs have increased with the restart of the upward movement of import scrap quotations after their short-lived sideways trend at the beginning of March. Accordingly, and also due to the slight revival of demand in the local Turkish wire rod market, Turkish steel mills have increased their domestic wire rod prices by $20-35/mt week on week.
