Local Turkish wire rod market moves on downward trend

SteelOrbis has been informed by market sources that local producers' price levels in the Turkish domestic market for 6-7 mm mesh quality wire rod are as follows:

The above prices, which are on actual weight basis, exclude VAT and are on ex-works basis. The offers may differ depending on buyers and order sizes.
 
Demand in the local Turkish wire rod market has remained sluggish during the past week, while domestic wire rod prices once again started to move down in the same period. Buyers are still only concluding wire rod deals in line with their needs during Ramadan, while demand is expected to revive after the end-of-Ramadan holiday (July 4-7).
