Local Turkish wire rod market decreases

SteelOrbis has been informed by market sources that local producers' price levels in the Turkish domestic market for 6-7 mm mesh quality wire rod are as follows:

The above prices, which are on actual weight basis, exclude VAT and are on ex-works basis. The offers may differ depending on buyers and order sizes.
 
During the past week, demand in the local Turkish wire rod market has remained at low levels, while domestic wire rod prices have fallen in the same period due to the weak demand conditions. Market sources state that domestic wire rod prices in Turkey may increase in the coming days supported by the upward movement which has started to be seen in import scrap prices as of last week.
